SUMMER GROUP SHOW AND
INVITATIONAL
Bill Maynes Gallery is pleased to
announce the opening of its fourth annual Summer Group Show and Invitational on June 26th, which will continue
throughout the summer. The exhibition will include new paintings by gallery
artists: Stephen Mueller, Andrea Belag, Alexi
Worth, Chie Fueki, David Ivie, and Matt
Magee. Also on exhibit will be watercolors and drawings by gallery artists
Susanne KŸhn (a new landscape entitled Licht),
and Nyame O. Brown, who is presenting The
Date, based on a painting by Norman Rockwell. Jim Torok will be
exhibiting both his intimately-scaled Self Portrait, as well as a storyboard drawing
entitled I Am Lucky, both from 2003.
Invited artists include Lamar
Peterson, who will be showing Cold
Water, a
tender, odd portrait of a mother and her children at the seashore in acrylic
and gouache on paper; Joe Andoe's untitled landscape,
Elizabeth Line's wall installation; and a small painting in ink and acrylic by
Kate Creeden.
Also, Tom Andersen, who will have
his first one-person exhibition at the gallery in September, is represented by
an untitled air-brushed painting on
panel.

July: Monday-Friday, 11 to 5
August: Tuesday-Friday, noon to 5
